Vince Young speaks to Scott Wozniak through the Mac cover of Madden 08 in Episode 150: It's a Bargain Bin Christmas. The box art for the game features Vince Young in a Tennessee Titans uniform holding a football on a white background with a ridge with the game's logo along with the EA Sports logo above it.

Wozniak, winning a sweepstakes (as announced by Sweepstakes Winner Announcery Jim), discusses his plans to make Madden NFL 08 for its original platforms, and how a remake is further planned. The new timeline wipes the game out of existence. It is then halted with Wozniak throwing his copy as a projectile to detonate the Genesis Mech, further causing it to teleport Wozniak and the Supreme Leader, revealed to be RelaxAlax, to the next continuum. In the aftermath of the fight, Wozniak's copy of the game falls out of the mech and lands on a bucket of goo, which, in turn, turns the game into a mech, which starts another battle against the Genesis Mech. Realizing their obsession for it, he shows his Madden NFL 08 copy, which they find extraterrestrial, and brings it with him during his battle with the Supreme Leader inside the Genesis Mech. Only one copy of the game survived Scott Wozniak's unexpected teleportation to a Dick Vitale's "Awesome, Baby!" College Hoops- centric continuum, as a result of being in Wozniak's space-time-continuum-proof bag.įollowing Wozniak's protest on Dick Vitale and house arrest, he's greeted by three worshippers of the game. It was first seen in Scott Wozniak's delight of people's discussions on the Madden game series.

He is also seen to have most of the versions of the game. Scott Wozniak is mad in love with the game and disrespects everyone who loves another Madden, up until A Very Madden 08 Christmas. Thanks for reading and any info you have would be appreciated.Madden NFL 08 appears in almost every episode of Scott The Woz, both physically and as a running gag. My question is, is it possible to increase the INJ/TGH ratings in game without mods/hacks? If so, what would I need to do? But the old Maddens are not on the XP system and progression is determined by the Madden AI.

You can also upgrade the TGH rating in Madden 16 and it doesn't cost anywhere near as much XP as INJ does. In the newer Maddens, like Madden 16, you can use XP (albeit a lot of XP) to increase the INJ rating. However, I've never seen that rating increase without modding the game/editing the player before starting the franchise for any player. It also states that if either rating goes back above 80, the role will be removed. When you read the injury prone role, it states that the player is injury prone because his inj rating is below 80 while his toughness rating is below 80. Now, because he's not touching the ball that much, maybe 2 or 3 times per game max, it's not that big of a deal for him. He was slapped with the injury prone label.

Sure enough, after his rookie season and going to the pro bowl as a kick returner, his awareness increased to 99 like all my other players do every offseason, but his injury and toughness ratings did not change. However, both his injury rating and his toughness ratings are below 80. He has 99 speed, 99 accel, and 96 agility. His hands are bad, but I didn't care about that as I wanted him solely to be my kick/punt returner. However, one thing that has always irked me is the injury/toughness ratings and the injury prone role.Įxample: I drafted a WR, James Carter, in the 6th round.

I've always loved how much there is to do in the Franchise mode that is simply not in the newer games.

I've long since loved the PS2 versions and the PS2 Ports for PC, like Madden 08. Okay, so I've been playing Madden since the early SNES days.
